ABSTRACT:Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been making significant strides in various industries, and thefield of creative writing is no exception. This research paper aims to examine the role and influence of AI innovel writing within the Malaysian context. The integration of AI technologies, such as natural languageprocessing and generative models, has the potential to revolutionize the literary landscape in Malaysia. Thispaper explores the cognitive functions of AI-generated literature, the ethical implications of AI-poweredcreative writing, and the potential applications of AI in enhancing the quality and efficiency of the novel writingprocess. The study also investigates the existing challenges and barriers to the widespread adoption of AI in theMalaysian literary scene, as well as the opportunities and future directions for the integration of AI in novelwriting.
