THE MEDIATING OF JOB SATISFACTIO ON THEEFFECT OF JOB STRESS ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research to find out and analyze the direct effect of job stress and jobsatisfaction on employee performance, to know and analyze the direct effect of job stress on job satisfaction, andto know and analyze the effect of job satisfaction in mediating the effect of job stress on employee performanceat PT. Bank BPD Bali Renon Branch. This research was conducted on all employees of PT. Bank BPD BaliRenon Branch. The number of samples in this study were 54 respondents. The sampling technique is saturatedsampling. Data collection was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires directly to the employeesof PT. Bank BPD Bali Renon Branch. Analysis of the data in this study uses descriptive analysis, path analysis,sobel test and vaf test. The results showed that job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfactionand employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, jobsatisfaction positively and significantly mediates the effect of job stress on the performance of employees of PT.Bank BPD Bali Renon Branch.
