ABSTRACT : Turnover intention can be an indication that employees are engaging in turnover behavior orleaving the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effectof emotional intelligence on turnover intention. This research was conducted on employees of PT. Tiki JalurNugraha Ekakurir Express Denpasar. The sample in this study are 70 employees through simple randomsampling. Data collected through interview techniques and distributing questionnaires. The analysis techniqueused is path analysis and sobel test. The results of this study show that emotional intelligence has a positive andsignificant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention,emotional intelligence has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention and job satisfactionsignificantly mediates the effect of emotional intelligence on turnover intention. When emotional intelligenceand employee job satisfaction increase, employee turnover intention tends to decrease.
