ABSTRACT : The purpose of thisstudyis to analyze the effect of leader member exchange on work engagementand job satisfaction. The population of thisresearch are employees whowork in The Task Force for NationalRoad ImplementationRegion III (Bali) withsample of 87 employees. The data collection methodwascarried outby survey and interview and getanalyzedusingpathanalysis. The results show that leader member exchange has asignificant positive effect on job satisfaction, leader member exchange has a significant positive effect on workengagement, work engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, work engagement plays arole in mediating the effect of leader member exchange on job satisfaction.
