AUTOUR D’UNE APPROPRIATION AFRICAINE DE L’ÉTHIQUE GÉRONTOLOGIQUE ET DU GENRE

ABSTRACT : The growing interest in questions of intergenerational solidarity and the reduction of forms ofdomination in the couple relationship invites fundamental reflections around gerontological and gender ethics.Indeed, this ethics would like to take charge of gerontological and gender vulnerabilities from a universalistpoint of view, taking charge which operates a detour through the philosophy of care. Our aim is, beyond thearticulation of the link between gerontology and gender, that of the africanist questioning of the universalism ofthe ethics which underlines them.
