ABSTRACT : This study focuses on Selected Literary Works of Candelaria, Quezon as a Teaching Tool forFilipino and Vocabulary Improvement, to determine the level of acceptance of the respondents based onobjective, content, meaning and to improve the vocabulary based on, denotation, connotation and imagination.The researchers used an experimental method, and the respondents were 100 grade 12 students of Drs. PanfiloCastro National High School. The researchers created learning activity sheets based on the most essentialleaning competencies that were provided to the respondents. After a few weeks of using it the researcherconducted a posttest, it turned out that the Selected Literary Works helped and improved their vocabulary
