21st Century Teaching and Learning: Ang Pananaw ng mga PreService Teachers ng Western Mindanao State University saPagigingEpektibo ng Paggamit ng ICT saPagtuturo at Pagkatuto ng Wika

ABSTRACT: The use of modern technologies is evolving to facilitate difficult tasks and serve as entertainment for people. One of the educational tools is the use of ICT for effective teaching and learning. At Western Mindanao State University, using ICT is not new for the teachers and students. As a result, the researchers conducted a study to ascertain Pre-Service Teachers’ perspectives regarding the effectiveness of utilizing ICT in language teaching and learning. Determining the elements influencing Pre-Service Teachers’ perceptions of the use of ICT in universities is one of the primary goals of this research.The researchers asked thirty (30) respondents to answer the survey questionnaire and then described it as descriptive research. With a high mean score of 3.70, indicating a strong agreement with the effectiveness of ICT in teaching, the PreService Teachers’ perceptions were found to be positive by the researchers following the data search.
