ABSTRACT: This paper critically examined the impact of Work Environment on Employee Job Performance,with specific focus on Alaba Branch 1, 2 &3 of First Bank Nig Plc, Lagos-State. This study employed adescriptive survey design. A sample size of 67 respondents was selected using simple random samplingtechnique of which 67 respondents filled and returned the questionnaire. Data from the questionnaire wasanalyzed using special software for statistics which is called statistical package for social science (SPSS) version23. The study found out that there is a perfect positive statistically significant relationship between physicalenvironment and employee’s commitment. Also, behavioural factor does statistically significantly affect jobsatisfaction in First Bank Nigeria Limited, Alaba 1, 2, 3. After the findings of the research it is highlyrecommended that organizations should improve on their physical environment to increase their employeecommitment which will have positive effect on employee performance and output resulting in improvedorganizational performance.
