Abstract: This paper explores the understanding of technology-related services determined by the students ofDhaka University (DU) in Bangladesh. The other objectives of the study were to state the current situation oftechnology-based services (TBS) inDhaka University Library(DUL) and identify whether it is essential for DULor not? To gather information from the students a closed-ended questionnaire was sent among 335 students ofthis university. The paper identified that the majority of the respondents are familiar with technology-relatedservices. The findings also suggested that there are a lot of rooms for improvement in technology-relatedservices of DUL in Bangladesh. The acquisition to reference section of this library requires better policies andpractices of TBS and this will help the students to figure out easily how to make the best use of technologybased information services. It is expected that the research findings will be supportive for the authority to findout the possible way to provide technology-based services to its users. At the same time, the paper will provide aclear idea of the students and their involvement withDUL.
