DETERMINATION OF WELFARE AND INCOME OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE BLUEEN REGENCY FISHING VILLAGE

ABSTRACT : This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the productivity and welfare of the fishingcommunity in MatangPasie Village, Peudada District, Bireuen Regency, both from internal and externalfactors.From the results of the study it was found that the factors that influence the welfare level of the fishingcommunity are income, health, social capital education in terms of work motivation, working hours and weatherconditions as well as productivity in terms of labor, capture technology and working capital aspects. Factorsthat do not affect the productivity of fishermen in MatangPasie Village, Peudada District, Bireuen Regency aregovernment policies in terms of capital assistance, empowerment and counseling as well as social capitalaspects in terms of work motivation, working hours and weather conditions. Factors that do not affect the levelof welfare of the fishing community in MatangPasie Village, Peudada District, Bireuen Regency are governmentpolicies in terms of capital assistance, empowerment and counseling.
