ABSTRACT : The increasing demand for wheat imports in Indonesia, encourages the importance of this to bestudied and analyzed the factors that affect the demand for wheat imports in Indonesia. The purpose ofconducting this research was to determine the effect of wheat flour consumption, wheat flour production, wheatprices, and corn prices on the demand for wheat imports in Indonesia in 2007 – 2017. This research wasconducted in Indonesia using quantitative data in the form of secondary data. Data collection is done throughnon-behavioral observation methods, analyzed by multiple linear regression using time series data (quarterly).The results showed that the variable consumption of flour and flour production had a positive and significanteffect on the demand for wheat imports. The price of wheat has a negative and significant effect on the demandfor wheat imports. Corn prices have a positive and not significant effect on the demand for imported wheat.
