ABSTRACT :One of the result of qualitative research on someslope of mountainsettlements of Central Java,Indonesiapresentedthat in vernacular the slope of mountain society have been the Sun potentialhaversting forgreen technology. The limitations times of sunshineseverydaybeadjusted by solarenergy and narural light tosupport the house energy and natural radiance. The Sun shinesonly 4-5 hours(at 7.00-11.00 AM) everyday.
