Abstract : This article aims to highlight the representationthatpilgrimsmake of the Hajj. Thus, the qualitative studyallowed us to identify the meaningthatpilgrimsgive to the Hajj. It also highlights the importance of the Hajj in the Muslimcommunity, itspreparationwith the theoreticalapproach of the comprehensivemethod. Qualitative data wascollected in Cocody from 30 people through the interview guide. The qualitative data wasmanuallyanalysed. As a result, it appearsthat the Hajj being the fulfillment of the last pillar of Islam, itistherefore of great importance in the life of the Muslim. The Hajj allowspilgrims to respond to the call of God, to see the remission of sins, the rebirth and the strengthening of theirfaith and theirspirituality. The resultsalsoshowed the expression of the reaffirmation of the oneness of God and at the same time, the confirmation of the greatness of the Islamic umma (community).
