ABSTRACT : This study aims to see the effect of (1)Hard skills on employee performance in the HRDepartment of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. (2)Soft skills on the performance of the HR Department of theRSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang.(3)Motivation on employee performance in the HR Department of M.JamilHospital Padang. (4)Hard skills, soft skills, and motivation have a joint effect on the performance of employeesof the HR Department of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The population in this study is all There are 35employees of the HR Department of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The technique of determining the number ofsamples taken as respondents with this technique in sampling uses the total sampling technique (whole sample).Total sampling is a sampling technique where the number of samples is the same as the population (Sugiyono,2017). The reason for taking total sampling is because according to (Sugiyono, 2017) the total population is lessthan 100, the entire population is used as a research sample. The results of this study indicate that (1)Hardskillsprovide a positive influence on the performance of the HR Section of the M.Jamil Hospital Padang. (2)Softskillsprovide a positive influence on the performance of the HR Section of the M.Jamil Hospital Padang.(3)Motivationprovide a positive influence on the performance of the HR Section of the M.Jamil HospitalPadang. (4)Hard skills, soft skills and motivationjointly have a positive effect on the performance of employeesof the HR Department of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang.
