The Effect of Situational Leadership Style and Motivation on Organizational Performance with Internal Locus of Control as Moderation Variables (Studies at Lembaga Perkreditan Desa in Abiansemal District)

ABSTRACT : Organizational performance is the result of a process that refers and is measured to adjust therules, standards or agreements that have been previously established in the organization during a certain periodof time. The decline in organizational performance will certainly have a negative impact on both internal andexternal organizations. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence ofsituational leadership style and motivation on organizational performance with internal locus of control as amoderating variable. This research was conducted at Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) in Abiansemal Districtbecause the classification of healthy LPDs has decreased significantly from 2016-2018. The sampling method inthis study used a non-probability sampling method which included saturated sampling, and obtained 34 LPDdata as samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and moderated regressionanalysis. Based on the research results, it is stated that the situational leadership style has a positive effect onorganizational performance, motivation has a positive effect on organizational performance, internal locus ofcontrol is able to strengthen the influence of situational leadership style on organizational performance, andinternal locus of control can strengthen the influence of motivation on organizational performance.
