ABSTRACT: In the contemporary organizational context, the sharing and transfer of knowledge play asignificant role and, therefore, it is important to overcome internal and external barriers for them to beprocessed. What can be facilitated by the implementation of The Governance of Data, Information andKnowledge (GovDIC), an emerging interdisciplinary approach that crosses the fields of Information Sciences,Business Sciences and Human Resources Sciences. The Governance do the problem is that, in addition to beinga new construct and still little studied, conceptual divergences are fed by the amplitude the possible dimensionsof analysis. In this context, the objective of this study arises in identifying the conceptualization of the constructGovernance of Data, Information and Knowledge proposed in the scientific literature to support its betterunderstanding and perspective of future investigations. A theoretical research was conducted through asystematic literature review, followed by an analysis of the most relevant publications on the subject. Thediscussion on the relevant GovDIC construct is considered in the context of contemporary organizations,however, it signals the importance of future empirical and theoretical studies,, to foster discussions, on the subjecttoday.
