ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the influence of Employee Competence and training on Employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable for employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Office of Bondowoso Regency. The number of samples in this study was 50. The analysis technique used was path analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results of the data analysis show that the Employee Competency variable has a significant effect on work discipline, training has a significant effect on work discipline, Employee Competence has a significant effect on Employee performance, training has a significant effect on Employee performance, work discipline has a significant effect on Employee performance. Indirectly, employee competence and training have a significant effect on employee performance through work discipline.
