ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study is to determine the role of job stress in mediating the effect of workfamily conflict on employee job satisfaction. The population and sample in this study were all 59 employees ofHotel Santika Siligita Nusa Dua Bali who were married using saturated sampling technique. The analysistechnique used is the path analysis technique. The results of the analysis show that work family conflict has asignificant negative effect on employee job satisfaction, work family conflict has a significant positive effect onemployee job stress, job stress has a significant negative effect on employee job satisfaction and job stress is ableto mediate the effect of work family conflict on employee job satisfaction.
