Work Environmental Analysis of Employee Performance With Reward As Mediation Variables (Case Study On Bay Beach Resort & Spa Jimbaran

ABSTRACT: The performance of employees in a company or agency is influenced by the work environmentand rewards. The work environment and rewards provided by the company will improve employee performancein achieving company goals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the work environment onemployee performance with rewards as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at Jimbaran BayBeach Resort & Spa. The sample used in this study were 63 people who were determined through theProbability Sampling technique with Simple Random sampling, which is a random or random sampling method.Data collection is done through interviews and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the path analysistechnique, classic assumption test, hypothesis test, multiple test and Variance Accounted For (VAF) test. Theresults of this study indicate that work environment has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance, reward mediates the effect of work environment on employee performance. The theoreticalimplications of the results of this study provide an understanding that in order to improve employeeperformance, the company management should improve the work environment and reward in accordance withthe needs in the process of employee performance. Limitations in this study are the limited journals and sourcesof mediation variables used in the study and some respondents did not fill out the questionnaire completely.
